This week in English we have been looking at the 5 parts of a story and applying them to a story mountain. We also looked at some different genres and wrote an alternative opening based on a different genre for the Hare and the Tortoise. We had some great work including mystery and science fiction versions,  imaginary underwater worlds, and historical settings.

In Maths our timetable fluency is really improving as we have had many activities centred around the 6, 7, 8, and 9 times tables. We also looked at inverse operation and how if we know 1 multiplication and division fact, we can easily work out 3 more.

Ms Vanessa had some great speaking and listening activities in Chinese class where our students put their new vocabulary into practice.

In Music, Ms Amp prepared us for next week's Loy Krathong celebration.  There were some excellent sounds coming from the Year 4 classroom so I am sure it will be a great performance on Thursday.

In Science we have been looking at different ways to sort animals including by how many legs they have and what they eat.

Have a great weekend and please contact me if you have any questions.
