English :
We will be writing explanation texts about how the human body works.
We will be rehearsing for International Day.
Maths :
We will be adding and subtracting fractions.
Science :
We will be learning about muscles and joints.

SPORTS DAY
Sports Day was so much fun! We love the new running track and had a great time working in our House Teams. Thank you so much to everyone who came to support your child.
Weekly routines for this term are:
Monday -
Homework from the previous week is due in. Anyone who has not completed their homework by Monday will have the opportunity to do it with me during Monday lunchtime.
PE as usual (sports kit, hat and bottle are essential in order to take part).
Tuesday -
New homework (1 English written task and 1 Maths task).
Bring in Chinese workbook (for Mandarin learners)
Wednesday -
Changing home reading books and Reading Record check. It is not compulsory to take home reading books from school if your child already has a book collection at home however this must be evidenced in their Reading Record. Pupils should be writing in their Reading Record daily.
Swimming as usual (if your child cannot participate in Swimming for any reason, please write a note).
Thursday -
Your child's focus spellings for the week will come home. Please display these somewhere visible and practise them with your child.
Friday -
Please do join us for Family Friday, it is a great opportunity for your child to share their learning and progress with you.
Any focus times tables will come home.
