Secondary Newsletter

Thank you to all those parents who attended our settling-in meetings on Wednesday, 12th September.

Our secondary school is characterised by constructive, caring and trusting relationships and this is supported by our House System. All the students are part of a house team looked after by a team of house tutors coordinated by the Head of House. Our small class sizes enable all students to thrive; honesty, integrity and consideration for others is highly valued. If you or your child have any concerns please encourage your child to speak to one of their team of house tutors or to me directly.

Every Friday morning, secondary students participate in our 'Think Big' session. This is a chance for students to consider some topical issues and current affairs and learn the art of healthy debate and discussion. Parents are also welcome to join these sessions with your child's house team.

I hope you and your child have a wonderful, productive and happy year at TPIS.
