Week One

Kindergarten Weekly Update

Monday 8th January - Friday 11th January

Dear Parents,

We were so happy to welcome you all back to school for the start of Term 2. The children have returned full of excitement, energy and enthusiasm!

This week we have welcomed some new members to our class; we have spent time catching up with our friends and hearing all about each others' half term holidays. We have also begun our next topic which is Healthy Eating.

In Maths we went on a number hunt around the school and worked with a partner to record the numbers we found. We have also continued to practise our number formation using play dough.

On Tuesday 15th January we will be celebrating TPIS Book Day! All students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character for this event. Here are a few ideas if you haven't got a costume yet:

Please can I remind everyone to return their library book each week on your child's assigned day. This is written inside your child's communication book and is displayed on the door to our classroom. If you are unsure of your day please just ask a teacher. If you wish to keep the same book for longer or perhaps it has been misplaced then please just let us know. Thank you.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to speak to us or email us.

Kind regards,

Ms Ellie Parkinson and Ms Jenny Rebamba
