Taipei Municipal Taiping Elementary School is located in Datong District, and was founded in 1898. It was formerly known as "Dadaocheng Public School" and has a long history, having cultivated numerous outstanding alumni.
The school has a spacious and green campus that reflects environmental education in every corner. In the culturally rich Dadaocheng area, students have access to a wealth of local cultural resources. The school also houses the statue "Bust of a Girl", created by local artist Mr. Huang Tushui. In 2024, the "Taiping Museum" will be established to cultivate students' appreciation of aesthetics in their daily lives. In 2022, Taipei Municipal Taiping Elementary School officially became a bilingual curriculum school to broaden students' international perspectives and develop students' English abilities.
Various teams have been established on campus, including karate, string orchestra, lion dance, football, track and field, and after-school clubs, to develop students' wellbeing and learning, as well as to realize the school's vision of "health, excellence, and life artists”.
