[Department of Media and Communications]AY 2017 Overseas Training in New Zealand【メディアコミュニケーション学科】2017年度ニュージーランド研修
Overseas training programs organized by the Department of Media and Communications, in collaboration with TV companies, are designed to provide students with opportunities to receive guidance from professionals in video production, gather information on local media-related activities to produce video works, and learn about overseas media status.
In AY 2017 in February, we conducted overseas training in Auckland, New Zealand, as a joint project with Fuji Television Network and JTB. Students covered media companies such as local magazines and Websites providing local information, and produced a program. Under the guidance of the accompanying TV producer, the students voluntarily worked on a range of items, from the planning of news gathering, to arranging to meet local related persons and residents for coverage and filming. In the studio recording after returning to Japan, the students received detailed guidance on program production from Fuji TV staff members, which provided the students with valuable experience.
メディアコミュニケーション学科が企画する海外研修プログラムでは、テレビ局との連携により、映像制作のプロの指導を受け、現地のメディア関係の活動を取材してビデオ作品を制作し、海外のメディア事情を学ぶことを目指します。
2017年度は、フジテレビ、JTBとの共同企画により、2月にニュージーランドのオークランドで研修を実施しました。地元の雑誌やウェブサイトなど、地域情報を発信しているメディア企業を取材して番組制作を行いました。同行するテレビプロデューサーによる指導のもと、取材の企画・立案から、現地関係者や地域住民への取材アポ取り、撮影までを学生が主体的に行いました。帰国後のスタジオ収録では、フジテレビのスタッフから番組制作に関する細かい指導を受け、貴重な経験となりました。
