Associate Professor Yasushi Sonobe (Department of Media Communications) released his special lecture “The Role of Public Relations in Enhancing Communication between Organizations and the Public (12 min. 28 sec. [in Japanese]) on the Learning Columns webpage, where web experience classes are offered to potential applicants via ToyoWebStyle, the Toyo University Admissions site, as examples of classes given at the University.

受験生に大学の授業の様子を知ってもらうために配信されている、東洋大学入試情報サイトTOYOWebStyleの「動画で見るWeb体験授業」のコーナーで、メディアコミュニケーション学科薗部靖史准教授の特別授業「コミュニケーションで組織と人を支えるPR」（12分28秒）が公開されました。 

In this lecture, Mr. Sonobe explains the difference between public relations (PR) and advertising, the origin of PR, the role of PR, and the influence of the development of media and telecommunications on integrating PR and advertising. 

この授業では、PRと広告の違い、PRの起源、PRの役割、そしてメディア・通信技術の発達によるPRと広告の融合などについて講義が行われました。
