HOURS OF OPERATION: Friday 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

You must be a RESIDENT of Chittenden to use the facilities at the Transfer Station. Residents must display a "sticker" on their vehicle to utilize the transfer station. Each vehicle must display a sticker in the passenger side window. Stickers are available at the Town Clerk's office for a fee of $7.00 each.

​In addition, residents must purchase and present a punch card when discarding trash into the compactor.

​Blue Punch Card: $12.00 allows (10) 13 gallon or smaller bags.

Orange Punch Card: $25.00 allows (10) 33 gallon or smaller bags.

Punch cards can be purchased either at the Town Clerk's office or at the Wooden Barrel Country Store.
