Who we are

Our vision

Our common vision, as part of the Oxford Diocese, is for a more Christ-like Church: contemplative, compassionate and courageous for the sake of God’s world. A church more like Jesus and the Lord we serve.

The focus of our ministry in Towersey is to witness to the love of God and the hope that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

What we believe

If you're wondering what we're about at St Catherine's or what the message of the Christian faith is, put simply it's all about Jesus!  We celebrate the remarkable news of what Jesus has done for us and how we respond to that. Turn up the volume and click below for a quick summary.

If you'd like to know more, or to discuss with someone what this means then please do get in touch, at welcome@towerseychurch.org.uk. We'd love to talk further about it.

Finances

St Catherine's relies on the support of church members to pay for the costs of our vicar and to support the routine running costs of the church. We encourage church members to give regularly through the Parish Giving Scheme.  If you would like to join this scheme or to give regularly in other ways please contact Keith Civval via treasurer@towerseychurch.org.uk.

Proceeds from the Church Fete and other fundraising activities are used to meet maintenance costs of the church building and churchyard and other local organisations. We are very grateful to all those who support these activities in so many ways.

Full details of the church activities and finances can be found in our Annual Report, which can be read or downloaded from this link.
