NeverLost helps you find your phone and provides anti‑theft protections such as triggering a loud alarm, showing a custom message, and enabling remote actions you configure. The app may also show ads to keep certain features free.
We aim to collect the minimum data needed to provide our features.
Account / contact details (optional): Only if you email us or submit feedback (e.g., name, email, message content).
Settings & preferences: Your local choices (e.g., alarm volume, triggers, PIN) are stored on your device.
Device information: Model, OS version, language, app version, basic diagnostics and crash data.
Identifiers:
Advertising ID (AAID/IDFA) for ads and ad measurement.
Instance IDs for notifications/analytics.
Usage data: Feature usage, screens viewed, timestamps (aggregated/anonymous where possible).
For features like voice/whistle detection or find‑by‑sound, the microphone may be used on‑device. We do not store or send raw audio without your explicit action (e.g., sending a report to support).
Provide and improve app functionality (find‑my‑phone, anti‑theft).
Customize experiences, optimize performance, and fix bugs.
Show ads and measure ad performance (see Section 6).
Communicate with you (support replies, important notices).
Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
We request permissions only when needed for specific features you enable:
Microphone — Detect whistles/keywords or play/stop alarms. Processed on‑device.
Notifications — Send alerts, reminders, and status updates.
Foreground Service / Run in Background — Keep protection active so the device can be found even when the app isn’t open.
Do Not Disturb / Alarm (if offered) — Play loud alerts to help recover the device.
We do not request permissions unrelated to the features you use.
FindPhoneX uses Google AdMob and AdMob Mediation to show ads. As a result, third‑party ad networks may collect or receive device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), coarse location, and performance metrics to provide and measure ads, in accordance with their policies.
You can reset/limit the Advertising ID in your device settings.
Where required, we display a consent prompt (e.g., in the EEA) to obtain/manage your ad choices.
Examples of mediation partners may include Google AdMob and other networks you enable via mediation. Their collection and use are governed by their own privacy policies.
We may use privacy‑focused analytics and crash reporting to understand app performance and reliability. Data is aggregated where possible.
NeverLost: Universal Phone Finder is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
Service providers (ads, analytics, cloud messaging) under contracts that protect your data.
Law enforcement when required by law.
Business transfers (e.g., merger) with notice and continued protection.
Permissions: Enable/disable in system settings anytime.
