　本学では、国民から負託された研究費の不正使用を防止する観点から、研究費の使用または管理に関わる本学構成員に対し、研究費の使用ルール、研究費使用に係る責任の所在、不正使用が及ぼす影響等についての理解を浸透させるため、「研究費不正使用防止コンプライアンス教育」を実施しています。

 To prevent the misuse of research funds entrusted to us by the public, Tohoku University conducts "Compliance Education for the Prevention of Misuse of Research Funds." This program aims to ensure a thorough understanding among university members involved in the use or management of research funds regarding the spending rules, the allocation of responsibility, and the consequences of misconduct.

* The intensive training period of the education for the 2026 academic year is scheduled to take place from October to November 2026.

■通報の受付方法/How to Report
通報は、書面又は面談により受け付けます。
書面により通報を行う場合は、不正使用の内容等が明示された書面を、持参、郵送、FAX 又は電子メール等より上記の宛先へ提出してください。
Reports are accepted either in writing or through interviews.
When submitting a report in writing, please submit a document that clearly specifies the details of the misuse, etc., to the above address via hand-delivery, mail, fax, or e-mail.
　受付時間：8時30分～12時00分、13時00分～17時15分
　Office Hours: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 5:15 PM
※ただし、土・日・祝および年末年始（12月29日～1月3日）、その他休業の期間は受付を行っておりませんのでご注意ください。
* Note: Please note that reports are not accepted on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3), and other university holidays.

通報後は、通報内容の確認ができ次第、担当者より今後の対応についてご連絡させていただきます。
また、通報内容に関して、担当者より確認のご連絡させていただく場合がありますので、予めご了承ください。
After a report is submitted, the person in charge will contact you regarding future procedures as soon as the details of the report are confirmed.

☑️通報は、東北大学の構成員だけでなく、学外者も行うことができます
Reports can be made not only by members of Tohoku University but also by external individuals.
☑️通報にあたっては、原則として、通報者のお名前・所属・連絡先等を明記してください。
（匿名の場合は、当該通報の内容により研究費の不正使用が特定可能であり、かつ、添付された証拠書類等により当該不正使用の実在性を外形上矛盾無く説明可能なときに限り、受け付け致します。）
In principle, please clearly state the reporter's name, affiliation, contact information, etc., when making a report.
(Anonymous reports will be accepted only if the specific misuse of research funds can be identified from the content of the report and the existence of the misuse can be substantiated without external contradiction based on attached supporting documents, etc.)
☑️通報にあたっては、東北大学において通報対象事実（研究費の不正使用又は不正使用の疑い）が生じていることをできるだけ具体的に記述してください。
When making a report, please describe as specifically as possible the facts subject to reporting (misuse or suspected misuse of research funds) occurring at Tohoku University.
☑️通報者、被通報者、通報内容及び調査内容については、調査結果の公表まで、通報者及び被通報者の意に反して調査関係者以外に知られることはありません。
The identities of the reporter and the accused, as well as the content of the report and the investigation, will not be disclosed to anyone other than the investigation personnel against the will of the reporter and the accused until the investigation results are publicly announced.
☑️通報者は、通報したことのみを理由に、解雇、降格、減給その他の不利益な扱いを受けることはありません。
The reporter will not suffer dismissal, demotion, salary reduction, or any other disadvantageous treatment solely on the grounds of having made the report.
☑️被通報者は、通報がなされたことのみを理由に、解雇、降格、減給その他の不利益な扱いを受けることはありません。
The accused will not suffer dismissal, demotion, salary reduction, or any other disadvantageous treatment solely on the grounds that a report has been made.
☑️調査の結果、研究費の不正使用があったと認定された場合は、調査結果が公表されます。
（研究費の不正使用がなかったと認定された場合は、原則として調査結果は公表されません。）
If the investigation finds that research funds were misused, the results of the investigation will be publicly announced.
(In principle, if the investigation finds no misuse of research funds, the results will not be publicly announced.)
☑️通報内容が一般的なご意見等であり、通報対象事実でないと判断した場合は、情報提供として学内の関係部署等と共有し、業務の改善等に活用させていただきますので、予めご了承ください。
Please note in advance that if the content of the report is judged to be a general opinion rather than a fact subject to reporting, it will be shared with relevant internal departments as information and utilized for operational improvements, etc.
