主に農業応用に向けた大気圧空気プラズマの活性種制御に関してまとめたレビュー論文である.生物に対するプラズマ処理方法には下記のような種類がある.
・プラズマの直接照射
・プラズマのリモート照射
・プラズマ直接照射溶液の添加
・プラズマリモート照射溶液の添加
上記のような各処理形態において,生物に対して実際に到達する活性種の濃度組成を「測る」・「予測する」・「制御する」ために必要な知見をまとめたものである.
また,実際の応用例について,プラズマデバイス構造とその効果とともに,いくつか紹介されている.
