AGM 222 Microbial genetics (1+1)
Course for B.Tech (Biotech) and B.Tech (Bioinfo) students
This course will introduce the basics of genetic elements of bacteria and virus; how they are different from Eukaryota in their structure and function. It also deals the bacterial gene expressions and regulation; mutation and modifications. The course will cover genetic recombinations in bacteria too. This course would be a fundamental course for further explorations such as Gene Cloning and Microbial Biotechnology.
