Explore the human experience through the conceptualisation, staging and reception of theatrical events and dramatic texts. You will be immersed in an independent learning culture, grow as a leader, while creating your art and taking ownership of your craft.
Our learning takes place within a blended learning environment, where you will take part in weekly practical workshops, complemented by seminar-style praxis lessons. Workshops explore performance methods from canonical practitioners such as Stanislavski and Brecht, to more contemporary influences like Suzuki, Viewpoints and Frantic Assembly.
Together, as a team of dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and encouraging peers, we strive to develop a community of student-artists and learners who are committed and devoted in empowering you to do your best in your craft, while remaining grounded to your personal voice.
At TMJC TSD, we believe that you are unique. We aim to embolden our young student-artists to be critical thinkers about the world around you through a values-driven education. We want you to be responsible and resilient decision-makers who are self-directed in your endeavours - culturally aware, and active in your contribution to the communities around you.
We strive to promote an inclusive learning environment with a community of students from a diverse range of backgrounds. We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting journey with us!
