About the TMCC Diesel Program

The state-of-the-art TMCC Diesel Technology program teaches students the operating principles of modern diesel engines, after-treatment systems, cutting-edge diagnostics, heavy duty drive trains, brakes and air systems, electrical systems and many other essential systems used on today’s heavy-duty diesel vehicles. This provides our graduates with the skills necessary to maintain and repair over-the road tractors and heavy equipment used in long haul trucking, construction and mining. Completion of a Skills Certificate, Certificate of Achievement, or AAS degree prepares graduates for a variety of positions as diesel technicians.

Enjoy small class sizes, individualized attention, a convenient location, bus access and more as you complete your degree at the TMCC William N. Pennington Applied Technology Center.
