I have a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Nevada, Reno, an M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an M.S. in bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever (shown to the right). In my free time I like watching movies, playing the guitar, and gaming.
