Remote Learning

During the period of lockdown, with school closures, we offered every pupil at Pebsham a curriculum of online learning. At Pebsham, we use Google Classroom as our safe, secure method of sharing learning with those at home.

When teaching remotely, we teach the same curriculum as we do in school, wherever possible and appropriate. However, we have needed to make some adaptations in some subjects, to support our families that may not have learning equipment or resourcing. For example, we may be focusing on sculpture using clay if in school, however, we may use different materials or focus on the artist themselves when remote teaching this unit in Art. In Geography, we may use atlases in school, however for remote learning, we might support pupils via a link to a website or specific map.
