We have had an excellent start to the year with the children returning ready for their learning; respectful in the way they are speaking to adults and peers; and safe in their behaviour. With the majority of children remembering the Tithe Farm Way well, the school has a calm buzz of learning.
This week we have welcomed our youngest learners who are beginning their Tithe Farm journey. They have transitioned well to school and have enjoyed learning through play in their provision. I am sure that after a full day in school today, they will sleep well!
Please could families ensure that all clothing, lunch boxes and bags are named so that adults can do their best to get lost property back to the children. If you do loose something, lost property can be found in the baskets at the front of the school.
Hello everyone!
I am very excited to be writing to say hello to The Tithe Farm family and to introduce myself as the new Deputy Headteacher.
I have had a great first week getting to know the children and adults across our school. The children have been brilliant teachers, showing me what ‘The Tithe Farm Way’ is all about and reminding me how important it is for everyone to be ready, show respect, and stay safe every single day.
A little bit about me: my favourite subjects are Maths, PE, and Reading and when I’m not at school, I love to visit the beach whenever I get the chance, as being by the sea is one of my favorite places to be! The most important thing to me is kindness, both inside and outside of school. I can already see that Tithe Farm is a kind, caring community, and I feel so proud to be a part of it.
There is so much great learning and lots of exciting events planned for the year ahead—it really is going to be a fun year at Tithe Farm! First things first though, is learning everyone's names! So, if you see me at the school gates or around school, please do come over and introduce yourself!

Central Bedfordshire School admission page:
Our Year 6 pupils have hit the ground running this term, diving straight into their new curriculum with incredible determination and passion. From unravelling the science of light to immersing themselves in our fascinating new World War Two topic, their curiosity has been wonderful to see. A particular highlight has been our English lessons, where the children have thoroughly enjoyed using drama and role-play to bring their learning to life. We are immensely proud of the focus, maturity, and enthusiasm they have shown this first week—what a stellar start to their final year!

Whole School Attendance: 95.62%
Attendance Ted will be visiting Onyx, Opal and Ruby Classes who have had 100% this week,
These are excellent attendance figures which mean that the children have been able to settle into the school year; learn the routines of their new classrooms; and start this year's learning at the beginning.
As part of our attendance procedures, if your child is absent from school, you may receive a phone call from a member of the leadership team to confirm the reason for absence and also to offer support. Please remember that if you child is unwell when they first wake up and then become better during the day you can bring them to school.
Please do not allow your children to go on the wooden climbing equipment at the end of the school day. This equipment is only for use within school time and is appropriate for child of a specific age.
A number of families have requested that the car gate be open in the morning to ease congestion at the gate. In order to safeguard our children appropriately the car gates will remain closed.
To support smooth entrance to school:
please ask your children to get off their bikes or scooters as they come onto the school premise rather than at the school gate.
please try to keep left when walking in and out of the gate this may help ease bottle necks.
After careful consideration and as part of our commitment to keeping all our children safe, in response to the introduction of Benedict's Law on 1st September, we have taken the decision to stop the tradition of children bringing in cakes, sweets or other food items from home to share with their class, (such as for birthdays or special celebrations). Whilst we fully appreciate the kind intentions behind these treats, managing severe food allergies and dietary requirements safely within the classroom has to be our main priority.
Moving forward, we ask that no food or treats from home are sent in to be handed out. If your child does bring any items in to share they will be stored safely in the office and you will be asked to collect them at the end of the school day.
We have plans for exciting non-food ways to celebrate your children's special moments in school!
Please see below the days that your child's class/year group have PE. This information has also been sent via email.
