This year will be an exciting year in English. Our primary goal is to prepare for life after high school, but we will have a lot of fun on the journey.
We will be working to improve our grammar, both spoken and written, and we will also learn valuable reading skills to increase our comprehension and retention of stories.
We will also be reading a great deal of awe-inspiring literary works by some of the most influential authors our world has to offer.
Come join us as we explore the world of literature!
This year will also be an exciting year in Visual Arts. This course introduces you to various art movements, cultural influences, artistic genres, artists, and their artwork. The main emphasis of the course is to teach you hands-on studio arts techniques as you conduct personal research and explore your own creativity. While utilizing historical and contemporary art concepts, the course guides you through different time periods. Examining and discussing artwork is a crucial part of this course, encouraging you to express your opinions about art in an intelligent and articulate manner. By the conclusion of the course, you will compile a portfolio of artworks reflective of your research, understanding, creativity, and personal growth.
Come join us as we explore the world of art!
