Hello everyone. Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year. I am excited to have you all in class. You can reach me by calling 901-840-9400 or by emailing me at edelashmit@tipton-county.com. I am willing to work with you to help get your grade up should you fall behind from misunderstanding the work or from being absent due to illness. I look forward to getting to knowing each one of you. Please know that I will help you, but not do the work for you. You must complete all work on your own and in a timely manner (the time in which I assign it).

TUTORING DAY - Wednesday's from 2:45-3:45 pm every week starting the first week of September upon request. Student may also request to come to Cardinal Care during the day to complete missed assignments or for extra help.

Welcome to Mrs. Delashmit's English class. I look forward to an exciting school year and getting to know each and every one of you. A little information about me:
I am married and have 3 beautiful children. I have lived in Tipton County all of my life. I have an Associate's Degree in Social Science, a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, a Master's in Secondary Education, a Master's in English Literature with an Emphasis in Education and an EdS degree in Instructional Leadership. I have been teaching full time for 10 years. This is my 6th year here at BHS. I am excited to get this year started! Go Cardinals!
