Kim Davidson has worked in education for over thirty years. As a classroom teacher, Kim spent thirty-two years teaching English and Speech to grades 6 through 12. Kim has a master's degree in Education from the University of Minnesota and National Board Certification (1990) in English Language Arts Young Adult and Adolescence. During her time as a classroom teacher, Kim was honored to be a finalist for teacher of the year in both Minnesota and South Dakota. In addition to teaching, Kim has coached oral interpretation, drama, knowledge bowl, student council, and cheer.
Currently, Kim works as a Learning Specialist for TIE. She is a coach and coordinator for the state's MTSS initiative and teaches ELA to grades 6-9 for Black Hills Online Learning. Kim enjoys traveling, reading, and time at her cabin on Lake Traverse.
