Educators start the journey towards better schools by asking "If our destination is great student learning and a relationship-centered framework, then where do we start?"
Examining our current practices may be the first step on the path to connect staff and students with life-changing, differentiated learning. This is a sample of a survey used in 2 departments to identify areas in a department that needed support or growth.
Identifying areas that needed change allowed teachers to lead sustainable change that shaped collective efficacy over time.
Once areas of need are identified, then groups or campuses can begin a journey towards building Connected Classrooms.
Key components of a Connected Classroom include the ability to:
Align and blend academic competencies and interpersonal skills
Utilize Cooperative learning structures and skills
Cultivate intentional classroom culture
