A: Growing love in your family is a very gentle process. Most people want to be loving and caring to the ones close to them, but they may not know how to do so, or they may feel that their efforts are not acknowledged.
One of the things that I’ve found to be helpful is really showing gratitude to them for what they’re already doing. For example, you may want to try saying: “Thank you, guys, for loving me and working so hard.”
You can also practice gratitude, self-reflection and mindshifting, by completing the Day 1.1 exercise found in the Week 1 Workbook (Week 1 tab of the portal). Although not specifically geared towards showing gratitude to others, this exercise will help you to self-reflect and learn different ways to shift your mindset.
