Please bring all costumes, shoes, tights and accessories for picture week!  Remember that all accessories are listed on the sheet in your costume bag.  

* All jewelry, temporary tattoos, and nail polish should be removed before picture day.
*Dancers do not need to wear underwear under their costumes.  

When?

Showcase picture week will be held April 7th - 10th.  Showcase pictures are taken during your child's class evening.  Please visit the below schedule to find your exact time.  

If your class is the first to take pictures (5:00 pm classes), please arrive 15 minutes early.  All other classes please arrive 20 - 30 minutes early before your scheduled time in case we are running ahead.

How to Order?

Showcase pictures are taken by Heartland Photography in Salina.  All families will be sent a link from Heartland Photography a few weeks after photos for you to go on and select your photos.  There is nothing to purchase the day of photos.

Important Information

All students should be present for their class picture if they have a costume.   After the group photo shoot, we will take individuals of each dancer. We take photos of every dancer unless they ask not to have their photo taken for a specific costume.  Heartland Photography offers great memory mates and special keepsakes! 

What is the schedule for picture week?

• All female students should wear makeup for photos. Make-up application includes: foundation, blush, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow (please not blue eye shadow, it does not photograph well) and fake eyelashes.  Please see specifics for each age group in the picture day document above.

• Students ages 4-6 are encouraged to wear a little make-up to keep their face from being washed out under the photography lights.

• Uniform hairstyles are required. 

  • Tutus/Bowties, First Steps/Taps, Tippy Toes/Tiny Tappers, Kidlets/Taplets & FUNdamentals | Half Up/Half down with curls

  • Beginning Level  - Level 5 | Hair high bun

• Fly-aways should be smoothed down with hairspray or wax stick. 

• Bobby pins and hair nets are encouraged as needed.

• Dancers with short hair, please pull hair away from the face and slick it down.
