Homework and Grading Policy
- Homework: I am a firm believer that homework should only be given if a child is in need of mastering a skill being taught within the classroom OR if reinforcement is needed to continue progress. My goal is not to have homework every night of the week. I will try to provide students with ample time within our school day to get their work done. If at any point if you have any questions or concerns about the amount of homework or what is being sent home please talk with me.
- Grading Scale:
- 100-93 A
- 92-90 A-
- 89-88 B+
- 87-83 B
- 82-80 B-
- 79-78 C+
- 77-73 C
- 72-70 C-
- 69-68 D+
- 67-63 D
- 62-60 D-
- 59-0 F
Work within the classroom can always have the opportunity to correct work that is a D or F to receive a C (70%). It will be my general policy that retest is available for any test I will take the better score. This policy will be left up to my discretion based on the various circumstances that arise within the classroom.
