Welcome to the 2026-27 school year Thornton families! We hope you had a fun and relaxing summer and were able to enjoy some quality time.

The Thornton Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) extends a heartfelt welcome to all our new students, returning families, and staff members. We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, fun, and community building together.

The PTSA supports our school through events, programs, and resources that enrich every student’s experience. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers, administrators, and support staff can do their best work – so can our children can too.  Throughout the year we support Staff Development and Appreciation Week, WEB events, Art & Music programs, student events and initiatives, health and mental wellbeing, cultural events, and much more….  Our 8th graders will be celebrated and sent off at the end of the year with their own PTSA sponsored social.

🤝 Get Involved and Make a Difference

These events are only made possible thanks to the generosity of our amazing community. We invite you to get involved and make a difference this year.  Join PTSA for only $15 but know that becoming a member does not mean you automatically sign up to volunteer, it just means you support our group and believe in what we’re doing.  Volunteering doesn’t have to mean a huge time commitment.  We understand it is increasingly difficult to find time to give, but please, whatever your time schedule allows, we have need of you.

We want to warmly welcome back our incredible administrators, teachers and staff! Thank you for your continued dedication and passion for educating our students. We are deeply grateful for all you do to support our children every single day. We are looking forward to working with you all to make it an amazing school year for all our staff, students and families!

Join us at our Association meetings

Everyone is welcome to join the meetings and this year they will be hosted on Zoom to be accessible to more members.  Come hear updates from our principal, teacher and student representatives.  Ask questions, share information and ideas, help us build our PTSA community.
