TSD's EL PD Pathway:
English Learner Professional Development (EL PD) Pathway, meeting CDE's requirement
This 45-hour EL Pathway in-house coursework plan has been pre-approved by CDE to meet the new EL re-licensure requirements. Courses will be announced and posted in Learning Pro when more details become available. With the exception of the *prerequisite course, courses may be taken in any order.
*PREREQUISITE COURSE: Equity, Culture, and Diversity, 7.5 hours
OTHER COURSES, can be taken in any order:
Effective Teaching Strategies for CLD Students, 7.5 hours
Effective Assessment Strategies for CLD Students, 7.5 hours
Engaging Each Family, 7.5 hours
Language Acquisition SIOP, 15 hours
TOTAL HOURS = 45
