Diplomacy is the art of working with others but it is often reserved for the diplomats in politics. Yet it is through diplomacy can anyone - from businesses to entrepreneurs to students – to be able to push for real change via this invaluable art by working with both governments and key leaders. This workshop is intended to inspire aspiring leaders and change-makers in understanding how to become diplomats in order bring real impact and change the world. This is a skills based interactive workshop which will teach workshop participants how develop diplomacy, and will offer exercises to demonstrate how to apply the art of diplomacy to case studies.
Gesu Antonio Baez is the Executive Director and Chief Diplomatic Officer of Pax Tecum Global Consultancy, a firm focused on diplomacy in international development, biding social enterprises and governments for greater change. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Teach for Italy (part of the Teach for all Network). He has extensive experience in diplomacy in international development, within the international sector and the UN system.
