Project Brief: In this project, I conducted a detailed analysis using Microsoft Excel to determine whether the Recording Academy and the Grammys should maintain separate websites. This decision was based on analyzing various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as pages per session, bounce rate, and average time on site, alongside user engagement metrics during key events like the Grammy Awards.
I have created a line chart displaying the daily number of visitors to the Grammy.com website, utilizing data from the Grammys Data sheet, with the dates plotted along the horizontal axis. The chart reveals noticeable spikes in visits during December and March each year, indicating that the Grammy promotions likely begin in the winter of the preceding year, with the highest spike occurring on the day the Grammy Awards are hosted.
There is not a statistically significant difference in the pages per session between the Grammys + TRA and the Recording Academy.
