Who is TheraPanacea?
TheraPanacea is a start-up in the field of medical technologies, from the research laboratories of the Ecole Centrale Paris (now CentraleSupelec), which exploits artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies for revolutionize cancer management.
In the field of treatment, we design and develop next-generation software to support clinical teams in cancer radiation therapy (60% of cancer patients involved) that improve significantly improve the accuracy of radiation and allow more patients to be treated.
Created in 2017, TheraPanacea has received several prestigious awards for innovation and scientific excellence in its products and projects: winner of the BPI Digital Innovation Competition in 2017, winner of a European Research Award (European Research Council grant) in 2016, winner of the Scientipole Initiative (startup accelerator) in 2016, winner of the i-Lab 2017 competition for innovative start-ups. In 2018, the French Society of Radiology's Imaging Innovation Award and the 1st Paris Region AI Challenge Award.

To accelerate our development, we are looking for a :
We are looking for trainee engineers to define the clinical need and design the software solution
You will participate in the definition, design and improvement of our medical products in conjunction with medical radiotherapy teams and our technical teams. You will identify the needs of hospitalor clinical centersand translate them into features to be implemented or improvedin our products. You will help create a seamless way of collaboration between our development teams and the hospital world and be a force of proposal, efficient and creative to bring out the most intuitive and useful solutions for Users.
You will also have a role in establishing and monitoring partnership relationships with hospitals and will pilot and conduct outpatient clinical trials with hospitals.
You will participate in the emergence of a newgeneration of tools that revolutionize the daily lives of doctors and preservethe lives and safety of thousands of patients.
You will workin the heart of Paris, in a very international and dynamic environment, with medical teams in oncology, experts in artificial intelligence (learning statistical and deep, digital optimization) and 3D visualization of medical images.
- In training Bac 4 or Bac -5 in engineering, business school, master in bioengineering, biomedical or clinical specialities, radiotherapy, pharmacy, medical physics.
- Experience or strong motivation to work in the medical, startup, high-tech environment
- Analytical and rigorous mind
- Intellectual curiosity and strong listening ability
- Knowledge of radiotherapy or oncology appreciated but not necessary
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and good presentation
- Flexibility and strong adaptability
- Ability to work as a team and in agile mode
- Good communication in written and oral English
- Commitment and strength of proposal
The position is to be filled immediately and based in Paris in the 14th arrondissement.
