Countless women around the world struggle to raise their voice and get a chance to speak up for what is right for them. Abortion rights are still not protected in many parts of the world. This causes women around the world to be forced to take up responsibilities that she did not choose to take up.

Not only does this cause an immense physical effect on women but also creates an emotional burden on them. Women in all parts of the world must be given the right to choose what is best for them. My artwork represents a woman being forced to keep a child that she is unable to. The X-ray is of an unborn child. The woman above is painted in black and white as she has lost all her colours. The hands are holding her back from making the decision that she wishes to make.

Why does anyone have to be forced to take up a responsibility they don't want to?
