Careers

Here at The Mountbatten School we start Careers Education from Year 7, introducing you to a range of topics relating to the world of work. Careers Education is delivered for one session per week (during tutor time) throughout the school year. 

In addition, we organise a range of industry insight events, assemblies, trips, visitors to lessons, Careers Fair, mock interviews, Work Experience, career meetings with a Careers Adviser and much more. 

All students can request a careers meeting with a qualified Careers Adviser to discuss their options after school.

Students who have an EHCP will be offered a meeting every year from Year 8.

Meetings can be requested via your tutor, Head of Year or by contacting the Head of Careers, Mrs Shakya, via email: ssa@themountbattenschool.org. You are also more than welcome to drop by the Careers Office (found in Student Services) and say hello!
