We will be reading and discussing Building Thinking Classrooms in MATHEMATICS grades k-12 by Peter Liljedahl.  We will meet April 18 th and April 25, May 16, and  May 23, from 4pm  to 5pm.  Zoom Links will be sent for you to join.

Location: KVEC

This training will be for grades 3-5 on how do teach fractions, how to use the CSA model. We will discuss the Whole number concerns and what fractions look like and the multiple meanings of fractions and how do we articulate between conceptual and procedural understanding.  Teacher will receive materials and do a make and take with games and activities at the end of the day.
