Therapy can bring relief and renewed energy
I work with individuals and couples experiencing:
Feeling stuck in a personal pattern or cycle
Our sessions are experiential to enable lasting desired change in your life. When working with couples, I use an effective approach called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which is an attachment-based therapy backed up by 20 years of empirical research, and is considered a proven form of couple therapy by the American Psychological Association. With individuals, I use attachment-based Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), expressive arts, and somatic techniques to help work through trauma, depression, anxiety, destructive patterns, and emotional distress.
I identify as a heterosexual, white, cis-woman and my pronouns are she/her. My clients range in age, sexual orientation, lifestyle, gender expression, ethnicity, religion, and acculturation. My approach is sex-positive, LGBTQ+ informed and affirming.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, expressive arts, somatic techniques, and crisis counseling. My background in executive coaching and as a former executive give me insight into the challenges and pressures of my clients' professional lives. I'm also a longtime yoga & meditation teacher (RYT 500) and I weave mindfulness and somatic exercises into sessions as beneficial.
I am currently seeing therapy clients across California in video sessions and welcome the chance to meet and support you.
