NC Opportunity Scholarship and ESA+ Award Updates - Important Deadline Next Week
The NC Education Student Accounts Program (ESA+) sent award notifications to selected new student applicants. These families have until May 2, 2025, to respond to their award offer in MyPortal. New student award offers will be cancelled if they are not accepted by this deadline.
All NC Opportunity Scholarship awards for 2025-2026 have been either renewed (for previous scholarship families) or awarded (for new scholarship families) at this time.
Beginning this week, we will adjust tuition payment schedules in FACTS Financial to reflect Opportunity Scholarship and/or ESA+ awards that have been offered and accepted. We will post an update here when that process is complete.
Families should contact OpportunityScholarships@ncseaa.edu or ESA@ncseaa.edu directly if they have questions about these scholarships.
The new and improved NCSEAA website for the NC Scholarships has lots of great information on qualification and how to apply and maintain eligibility for the scholarships. Please visit https://k12.ncseaa.edu for step-by-step instructions, recorded webinars, and more helpful information.

If you have already given to the 2024-2025 Annual Fund, thank you for your support and investment in the future of our students and Fletcher.
We invite K-12 parents and guardians to join Tara Terry, Head of School, for engaging discussions about The Anxious Generation—the bestselling book sparking meaningful conversations, especially for families with children who learn differently.
Described as a must-read for all parents, The Anxious Generation is a generation-defining investigation into the collapse of youth mental health in the digital age—and offers a plan for a healthier, freer childhood.
And there's no need to be anxious. Please plan to join us even if you can't make it to both discussions or if you haven't finished reading all the chapters. We look forward to seeing you!
