State Child Care Licensing Orientation

Johnson, Miami, & Franklin County (Kansas)

The first step to starting a childcare business is to attend an orientation meeting. If you want to start a home childcare business, start by registering for an Information Meeting.

Wyandotte County (Kansas)

Orientations for In-Home Facilities: the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM at the Health Department 619 Ann Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66101

Missouri Counties

The Licensing Orientation is available in person at all Child Care Compliance (CCC) offices. Contact your nearest CCC office for available dates and times.
The Licensing Orientation is also available online and can be taken at any time. The orientation will take approximately one hour to complete and record your contact information at the end of the orientation for tracking purposes. Click this link to take the Licensing Orientation today.
