Fairfield County 4-H Banquet

Fairfield County 4-H recently held its 1st Extension Annual 4-H Banquet where they honored 4-Hers of Fairfield County. 4-H is an organization of young people, ages 5-19, across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. These children have the opportunity to compete in hands-on projects centered around health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement. 4-H Seniors that were awarded with a certificate and cord were: Jeffrey Feaster, Gerell Lawhorne, Hannah Earhart, and Antoine Young. Other students in 4-H were also recognized for their outstanding participation. Dr. Thomas Dobbins, Clemson Extension Director, Dr. Pam Ardern, Program 4-H Leader for South Carolina, and other 4-H officials were in attendance. 4-Her of the year is given to the senior that has shown dedication, has had a hand in, and shown the skills of a true 4-H members. Jeffrey Feaster was awarded 4-Her of the Year 2019-2020. Hats off to Fairfield County 4-H, as it continues to thrive for excellence.
