Parents Guide

The GMBA Officers and 2022 Camp Team wish that this year's camp could be for all Saints, but unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to make it youth only. 

Travel Committee:

We have a Travel Committee designated to making sure our attendees get to and from camp safely. While registering, there are questions about needing travel assistance; please check the answer that meets you or your child's needs. Once the registration has closed and we know who needs a shuttle to and from the airport, our Travel Committee will make contact with the attendees about flight details. Check our our Camp Schedule to help you make your travel plans. We have a dedicated group of Saints on our committee ready to make sure our campers who traveled by plane will get to camp without any worries!

Hotel Block for Parents:

We have a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/West Mifflin (1550 Lebanon Church Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236) which is about 30 mintutes from Cal U and 20 minutes from Pittsburgh. When booking your room, tell them you are with The Church of Jesus Christ. The deadline to book your room with the block is June 1! Call (412) 650-1000 to make your reservation.

Things for Parents to Do:

As a parent, we know that sending your child to Camp alone can be scary, especially if you live across the country. Because of this, we have complied a list of things to do in Pittsburgh so you can enjoy yourselves if you decide to stay in Pittsburgh.
