The goal of The Bright Spot Homeschool coop is to provide a positive, inclusive, learning, exploration, and play environment that makes each child feel valued as an individual and part of a community. This is provided through engaging, secular, hands on, integrated units that are responsive to student interests and incorporate passion projects, community building, social and emotional skill development, language arts, math, science, social studies, technology, and the arts. This experience is intended to supplement the core curriculum families provide at home. We provide field trip opportunities and additional add on experiences such as one on one coaching and extracurriculars.
The Bright Spot Homeschool Coop will run monthly sessions throughout the academic school year from the week of Labor Day through the end of May. The group meets on Fridays from 9-1 at The Bright Spot. Students will need to bring a snack, packed lunch, water bottle, and change of clothes (we'll get a bit messy). You can drop in ($30) for a particular date or get a discounted price ($25) a class for the session.
Session 1: Sept. 9-30
Session 2: Oct. 14-Nov. 18
Session 3: Dec. 2-Dec. 16
