Meet The Board

Message from our President - TJ Lowery

Dear Members, Community Partners, Sponsors, and Friends,

It is my honor and pleasure to serve as the inaugural President of The Black HR Society. Leading this Board of Directors is a privilege and a gift as our combined experience yields over 40 years of HR knowledge and expertise. The Black HR Society is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was created for Black Human Resources professionals to have a safe space to openly share experiences, resources, and what it means to be Black in the workplace.

Our mission aims to make a meaningful difference in the careers of Black HR professionals through targeted networking, shared business resources, best practices, educational resources, and development. My goal is to continue to strengthen the organization by building brand awareness that will result in strong partnerships and sponsors. This growth will allow us to use our resources to support the needs of our members to ensure they are becoming rightfully employed. Whether you are an experienced novice or an aspiring HR professional, we have a place for you and I encourage you to become an active member and take advantage of all of the benefits and events we have to offer.

I welcome you to contact me directly if I may be of assistance to you at any time.
