3. Lockers
TROPIKALI has lockers available: you can exclusively rent these at the festival. The lockers are located near the entrance.
4. Payment Options
Visitors have to buy tokens to pay at the bars or food court. Tokens can be bought at the festival terrain using your credit card, debit card or your mobile phone.
5. Cameras & GoPros
You are allowed to bring non-reflex cameras and gopros to TROPIKALI. Selfie Sticks are not allowed and will be taken by security at the entrance of the festival.
6. Medicines
You are allowed to bring medicines but only in sealed packaging.
7. Food
All food on TROPIKALI is vegetarian or vegan.
8. Cup System
During TROPIKALI we ban single use plastic. Therefore, we created a cup system where each visitor pays a fee at the bar for their first cup. When you return this cup at the bar when you are going for a new drink you don't have to pay a fee. If you don't feel like holding your cup the whole day you can exchange it for a token, which you can exchange later for a (free) cup again. The cup fee is not refundable.
9. Tap Water
Every toilet area has one or several free tap water points.
10. Earplugs
Earplugs will be available at the locker desk.
11. Lost & Found
All belongings that will be left at TROPIKALI will be saved by the organization. If you think you lost something send us an email (info@tropikali.nl) with a clear description of your lost item.
12. Wheelchair Accessibility
The festival grounds are (mostly) wheelchair accessible. The NDSM-Wharf consists of asphalt, concrete slabs and pavers. There won’t be a special wheelchair-zone. There will be a wheelchair accessible toilet, ask a festival employee about the location.
14. Awareness Crew
Our goal is to create an environment free from harassment, ableism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and sexism, among others. If a visitor witnesses behaviours that make them feel unsafe, it can be notified to the awareness crew. The awareness crew wears pink vests to be recognizable.
15. Other Questions

Traffic
1. Navigation Address
You can navigate to NDSM-plein 1. Before arriving at the NDSM-plein you will be met by clear signs and traffic officers to guide you to the festival grounds.
2. Parking & Kiss & Ride
We strongly recommend you to use public transport or visit the festival by bike, due to the accessibility of the NDSM-Wharf and very limited parking space. Also, it is better for nature!
When you are being dropped off at the NDSM-Docklands you will be met by clear signs and traffic officers to guide you to the designated Kiss and Ride area.
3. Public Transport
From Amsterdam Central Station (IJ-zijde) a ferry departs to the NDSM-Wharf. The ferry is free. After embarking the ferry it’s about a 200 meter walk until the festival entrance.
4. Taxis & Ordered Transport
It is possible to visit and leave TROPIKALI by taxi or ordered transport. The organization has arranged designated drop-off and pick-up points within walking distance of the festival entrance.
