Absences:
If your student is absent or tardy, please send the excuse to whhs.attendance@franklin.kyschools.us or have your student drop the note off in the front office. Pupils are required to attend regularly and punctually to the school in which they are enrolled. For questions, please review the FCS Attendance Policy.
Chromebook Fees via My School Bucks:
Keep forgetting to send money to pay your student's Chromebook fees? Don't worry, you can now pay them online by going to www.myschoolbucks.com. Here is an instruction sheet on how to get these paid.
Sports Pass 2025-2026:
All WHHS students will get in free to games this school year. If you would like to purchase an adult or family pass, please fill out the Sports Pass application and return it to the front office.
FFA Fall Decorations and Mums:
It is that time again where the cool temps are just around the corner. Let us deliver your fall decorations to you. We will deliver the package you want and then set it up in the location that you want at your house or place of business. We will also be selling Mums that our own Agriculture students grew them this summer. Please see the attached flyers to get details on the options we have. Household Income Forms:
Please do not forget to complete your 25-26 Household Income Form. This form is used for funding purposes and to ensure all of our students are provided the opportunity to thrive in their education. Please click this LINK to complete. It takes just a few seconds and can be completed for all students in the home at once.
Winter HOCO:
Winter HOCO will be Saturday, September 20th, from 8:00 - 11:00 pm. Tickets will be $10 per person. If your student is bringing a non-Western Hills guest to the dance, they need to fill out the guest form. The guest forms need to be turned in to the office by Thursday, September 18th. In addition, there will be themed dress up days each day next week. HOCO Dress Up Days
PSAT/NMSQT Exam:
The PSAT/NMSQT exam will be given to 10th and 11th graders on October 22nd in the library at 8:30 am. Those students wanting to take the exam can register on their Google Classroom.
Driver License Requirement:
Students needing to fulfill their Graduated Driver Licensing requirement can register for a free class by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on the Alive at 25 link located under Courses or by calling 502/699-2295. The next course is offered on Thursday, October 2nd at Western Hills from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
SAT:
We would like to let you know that all Juniors across the state of Kentucky will be taking the SAT test in the Spring, instead of the ACT test. Please click this link for more information.
