Sources of Strength Club Family Walk - Saturday, May 17th
Looking for something to do Saturday Morning?? Come celebrate your Strengths with the whole family! The WHHS Sources of Strength Club is hosting a walk this Saturday, May 17th, to help our local community recognize its strengths and raise mental health awareness!
Come learn about our local mental health organizations while enjoying yummy snacks from local vendors, activities & crafts for the whole family (rock painting, coloring sheets, yard games, etc.), and walk alongside your community to help celebrate your strengths.
The event will be at the WHHS track & will begin at 10 am with the walk beginning at 11 am.
First 50 people get a FREE Chick-fil-a biscuit!
Summer Feeding Program:
We are excited to offer our Summer Feeding Program again this year to ensure our students have access to nutritious meals even when school is not in session. If you are interested in participating in this program, please fill out the attached form. Summer Feeding Sign-Up Form

Baccalaureate (optional) - Sunday, May 18th - 4pm at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church 495 Duckers Rd, Midway, KY 40347; Graduates to wear graduation gown - no caps, no cords or stoles, Optional - Students are not required to attend. Parents are welcome to attend. Students who choose to attend, need to arrive by 3:30 pm. Please click this link for the Senior Activities Letter that was shared on March 20th.

Summer School:
Summer School will take place Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, beginning June 2 and concluding June 26. Daily in-person attendance, including the first week, is required until the credit is earned.
Registration is mandatory. The registration form will be available on our school website on the last day of school and will also be included in next week’s Wolverine Weekly.
Transportation will be available this year. Please note: registration for transportation must be completed by the stated deadline on the registration form—no exceptions.
EKU STEM Summer Camp:
We want to share an exciting opportunity for students passionate about the STEM Fields. EKU is accepting applications for their STEM Summer Camp—a residential STEM summer camp designed for high school students eager to explore STEM topics in a hands-on, engaging, and collaborative environment. The camp will occur on EKU’s Richmond campus from June 22nd to 27th with lab experiences, information sessions, and recreational activities.
Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors with a strong interest in STEM and a curiosity to learn beyond the classroom.

Driver License Requirement:
Students needing to fulfill their Graduated Driver Licensing requirement can register for a free class by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on the Alive at 25 links under Courses or by calling 502/699-2295. Here are the courses for May and June:
Thursday, June 5 at the Lawrenceburg Police Department from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday, July 12 at Frankfort-KY Safe Driver location from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
