Dear Wolverine Families,

As we prepare for the last day of final exams on Monday, I encourage all students to remain diligent in their studies and to utilize all available resources to succeed. Students should reach out to their teachers for support, clarifications, and guidance to help them prepare for their exams. It is important that our students maintain their focus and finish strong. As a parent, make sure your student gets plenty of sleep the night before the test, eats a healthy breakfast either at home or at school, and receives positive reinforcement during the week. By working together, we can make your student's test experience positive and successful.

Sometimes we're tested. Not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths.

SBDM Parent Elections:

Parents and Guardians of 9-11 grades should have received an email earlier today asking for SBDM nominations. In case you missed it, here is the link for nominations. SBDM Parent Ballot 26-27

Library Books:

ALL library books are now overdue. Please ask your student to return their library books as soon as possible. Lost books may be paid for with a check made out to WHHS or by paying the exact amount of cash to Mrs. Bell in the library. Students who are still using textbooks or novels from their English classes should turn those in when their teacher tells them that those materials are no longer needed for class.

Summer School:

Summer School will take place Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, beginning June 1 and ending June 25. Daily in-person attendance, including the first week, is required until the credit is earned.

Registration is mandatory. The registration form will be available on our school website on the last day of school and will also be included in next week’s Wolverine Weekly.

Transportation will be available this year. Please note: registration for transportation must be completed by the stated deadline on the registration form — no exceptions.

Meet the Graduates:

Senior parents can put an ad in the State Journal for a fee. The form must be turned in to the State Journal no later than May 20th. Meet the Graduates Flyer

Class of 2027:

The WHHS Dance Team is selling t-shirts for students and parents of the Class of 2027. See the attached flier for the order form and details. Class of 2027 Shirt Sale

Driver License Requirement:

Students needing to fulfill their Graduated Driver Licensing requirement can register for a free class by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on the Alive at 25 links under Courses or by calling 502/699-2295. The next class is Tuesday, July 28th at the Frankfort-KY Safe Driver location from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

May 15th & 18th: Final Exams
May 19th: No School / Election Day
May 22nd: Last Day of School
May 23rd: Graduation at WHHS Field - 6:00 pm - graduation parking map for 2026.
