Snow Makeup Day:
The first snow make up day will be Tuesday, February 18th. School will be in session on that day. Please adjust your schedules accordingly.
NTI Reminder:
I want to pass along a couple of dates and info concerning NTI assignments and the due dates for students to turn in work for those days.
* NTI Day 3, January 21st assignments are due February 12th.
* NTI Day 4, January 22nd assignments are due February 13th.
Don't forget that in the event that a NTI day is called due to bad weather, students are responsible for checking their google classrooms for assignments.
Big Smiles Partnership:
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Big Smiles and Bridgeport Elementary to offer students access to dental services through the Big Smiles Mobile Dentist. This is a great opportunity for students to receive professional dental care right at school! This event will take place on Monday, March 31, 2025. Hills Store Order Form:
Needing some Western Hills attire? We got you covered! Fill out the attached order form and return it to the front office. Checks need to be payable to Western Hills High School. Winter Snoco / Dancing with the Stars:
The Winter Snoco will be Saturday, February 15th from 9:00 pm - 12:00 am. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 (cash only). If your student is bringing a non-Western Hills guest to the dance, they must fill out a guest form and have it turned into the front office by Wednesday, Feb. 12th. Hallway decorating is Feb. 9th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. If your student would like to participate, they need to talk to their class sponsors and officers. Guest Form

Driver License Requirement:
Students needing to fulfill their Graduated Driver Licensing requirement can register for a free class by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on the Alive at 25 links located under Courses or by calling 502/699-2295. The next courses offered are on Thursday, February 20th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Frankfort Christian Academy and Thursday, March 13th at Western Hills from 4:30-8:30.
ACT Exam:
On March 11, the 11th-grade students will be taking the ACT exam. During this time, 11th graders will not have access to their phones. This year, we are unable to offer the ACT to 10th Graders in March. If 10th graders are still interested in taking the ACT this school year, your student can speak to their counselor about registering for a National ACT Exam.
