The first snow make up day will be Tuesday, February 18th. School will be in session on that day. Please adjust your schedules accordingly.
NTI Reminder:
I want to pass along a couple of dates and info concerning NTI assignments and the due dates for students to turn in work for those days.
* NTI Day #5, February 11th assignments are due Tuesday, February 18th.
Don't forget that in the event that a NTI day is called due to bad weather, students are responsible for checking their google classrooms for assignments.
Term 3 Mid-Term Reports:
All mid-term grades should now be posted for students. Please email Mrs. Mollie if you have any questions or need a parent portal reset.
Panera Project Grad Fundraiser:

Big Smiles Partnership:
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Big Smiles and Bridgeport Elementary to offer students access to dental services through the Big Smiles Mobile Dentist. Winter Snoco / Dancing with the Stars:
The Winter Snoco will be tomorrow, Saturday, February 15th from 9:00 pm - 12:00 am. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 (cash only).
Driver License Requirement:
Students needing to fulfill their Graduated Driver Licensing requirement can register for a free class by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on the Alive at 25 links located under Courses or by calling 502/699-2295. The next courses offered are on Thursday, February 20th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Frankfort Christian Academy and Thursday, March 13th at Western Hills from 4:30-8:30. In trying to accommodate more teens, we are offering an Alive at 25 class on Saturday in Frankfort. Any teen can attend even if they do not attend a high school in Frankfort. The class will be held in our KY Safe Driver office located at 1007 Twilight Trail. When the teen enrolls in the class it will give directions on how to locate our office once at the address. The date for this Saturday class is April 12th from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Practice ACT or AP Exams:
It is never too early to prepare for the ACT or AP exams. Would you like to practice online for FREE? Visit bit.ly/whhsactpractice where students can prepare for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, AP exams, and even learn to write College Admissions Essays. There are tutorials, practice tests, and test preparation eBooks. Students can sign in/register with their Franklin County Schools Google accounts. ACT Exam:
On March 11, the 11th-grade students will be taking the ACT exam. During this time, 11th graders will not have access to their phones. This year, we are unable to offer the ACT to 10th Graders in March. If 10th graders are still interested in taking the ACT this school year, your student can speak to their counselor about registering for a National ACT Exam.
