Car Riders:
If your child is a car rider, please use the front of school for drop off and pick up. For the safety of everyone, as well as our traffic flow, we ask you to please follow this procedure. Please do not park across the street from the school. There have been a few instances where students have crossed Doctors Drive to be picked up. This is very dangerous with the amount of traffic after school. We also ask not to pick up your student in the Teacher's or Student's parking lots. The line out front in the afternoon is long, but usually is cleared out by 10 minutes. Hills Student Pickup

Kentucky switched from the ACT to the SAT test over the summer. Some students are feeling a bit anxious about the SAT, so we wanted to share an opportunity for them to take some practice tests. The Kentucky Virtual Library (KYVL) provides College Admissions Test Preparation. There are 8 SAT Practice Math tests and 8 SAT Practice Reading and Writing tests available. Please see the KYVL flyer for more information. If you have any questions, contact our Library Media Specialist, Rhonda Bell rhonda.bell@franklin.kyschools.us

Cell Phone/Electronic Devices Policy Reminder:
This is a friendly reminder that our cell phone policy takes an "Away for the Day" approach during instructional hours. This initiative is designed to increase academic engagement, minimize distractions, foster face-to-face social interaction, and support student safety. Here is a link to our new cell phone policy. To learn more, please visit https://www.awayfortheday.org/. This has been going really well as we are seeing dramatic improvements in our student performance data as it relates to attendance, behavior, and grades. We appreciate your support!
