Dear Wolverine Families,

Spring Break is here and next week, there will be no classes. I hope that you get to use this time to rest, relax and recharge to be ready for the remainder of the school year. Spring Break is a time for you to do something for yourself or your family that everyday life may otherwise hamper.

We wish you all a wonderful and safe Spring Break, and we look forward to returning to a very busy and productive rest of our school year. Thank you, again, for your great support of students and staff. We are all thrilled to be part of this big, marvelous Wolverine family!

Spring Break Remediation:

Remediation over Spring Break will be offered Monday, April 7th through Wednesday, April 9th from 9am to noon. Contracts will be given to those students who qualify from their teachers. Be on the lookout for these forms, which will require your signature in order to participate. For more information, contact your child's teacher or Martha McCrary at Martha.McCrary@franklin.kyschools.us

Spring Break Contact Information:

We will have a limited amount of staff in the building over Spring Break. In addition, due to planned maintenance, no one will be in the building on Thursday or Friday. If you need assistance over Spring Break, please email our head principal, Dr. King at ryan.king@franklin.kyschools.us.

Senior Parents/Guardians:

Cap and Gown orders will be delivered to the school on April 15th during lunch. Please make sure you have your order in ASAP; otherwise the student may not receive a gown in time. These are required to walk at Graduation. Here is the Herff Jones contact information to order:

Yearbook:

Please remember to buy your yearbooks! Yearbooks are available for purchase at www.yearbookordercenter.com using order number 10536 for $70 each. Unfortunately, if we do not have enough yearbooks purchased, we will not be able to produce a yearbook this year. For information regarding yearbooks, email Ms. Fraley at lorrie.fraley@franklin.kyschools.us.

Driver License Requirement:

Students needing to fulfill their Graduated Driver Licensing requirement can register for a free class by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on the Alive at 25 links located under Courses or by calling 502/699-2295. Here are the courses for April:

Saturday, April 12 at Frankfort – Kentucky Safe Driver from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm (this is our office located on 1007 Twilight Trail).
Thursday, April 17 at The Frankfort Christian Academy from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Tuesday, May 13 at Western Hills High School from 4:30-8:30

Practice ACT or AP Exams:

It is never too early to prepare for the ACT or AP exams. Would you like to practice online for FREE? Visit bit.ly/whhsactpractice where students can prepare for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, AP exams, and even learn to write College Admissions Essays. There are tutorials, practice tests, and test preparation eBooks. Students can sign in/register with their Franklin County Schools Google accounts.
