What Time is It? Note Sheet (given in class)
Students will be given an event card and be asked to put themselves in what they believe the correct chronological order is. (This part of the activity can be broken up into groups to see who gets the most events correct.) I will then share the correct order with them.
Students will then be asked to do the following:
From most important/impactful on history to least and then explain why.
From being the most positive for the world to the most negative
By where they happened geographically (by making corners of your room continents or regions)
Complete the BCE/CE Practice Activity Google Form posted in Classroom. Use the note sheet for extra help.
Work in groups to play the Timeline game. You will draw event cards and create a timeline by putting them in the right order. Wrong answers mean more cards—the first person to get rid of all their cards wins.
Day 1- Finish BCE/CE Practice Activity
