Day 1

The Romans were heavily influenced by the Greeks and Etruscans. We already learned about the Greeks, but who were the Etruscans?

Independent Practice

Day 1

Use your SS textbook, chapter 32 (pgs 339-344), to complete the Greek/Etruscan Influences handout. First you will need to create 2 cartoons on the creation of Rome (myth and history). Then, you will need to complete a graphic organizer on the influences made by the Greeks and Etruscans. For each of the influences, draw an image as well as write a description on how it influenced Rome.

Day 2

As you know now, the Greeks and Etruscans heavily influenced ancient Roman society. To help you visualize this, you will look at 4 images. You must analyze each image and pick out 4 Greek and Etruscan influences and explain what the influence is.
